Mirzapur The Movie Worldwide Box Office Collection
The much-awaited big-screen adaptation of the popular Mirzapur franchise has delivered a strong performance at the box office. Featuring familiar faces and the intense atmosphere that made the original series popular, Mirzapur: The Movie attracted audiences to cinemas across India and overseas.
Released on 4 September 2026, the film brought the familiar characters of Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit and Munna Bhaiya to the big screen. The movie was directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna. Its cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Ravi Kishan and Jitendra Kumar.
According to The Indian Express’s latest reported figures, the film collected approximately ₹336.83 crore worldwide, including ₹275.83 crore gross in India and ₹61 crore from overseas markets. These numbers underline the strong audience interest in the Mirzapur franchise.
India Box Office Collection
Mirzapur: The Movie opened well at the Indian box office. It earned approximately ₹24.47 crore on its first day, giving it a promising start. Audience interest increased over the opening weekend, with collections reaching around ₹90.95 crore.
The film continued to attract viewers during its first week and maintained a healthy run in the following weeks. Its familiar characters, dramatic confrontations and connection with the popular series helped bring franchise fans to theatres.
Box Office India reported a final India net collection of approximately ₹223.44 crore. Other trackers have published different totals, so the final figure can vary depending on the source and reporting method.
Overseas Box Office Performance
The film also attracted viewers outside India. Its overseas performance contributed significantly to the worldwide total, with reported collections of around ₹61 crore.
Markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and other international territories helped expand its theatrical reach. The franchise already had an audience among viewers living abroad, which supported interest in the film’s international release.
Budget and Box Office Verdict
Reports place the film’s estimated production budget at around ₹80–90 crore. Against this reported budget, its worldwide theatrical earnings represent a strong commercial result.
However, box office gross is not the same as a film’s profit. Theatrical revenue is shared between distributors and exhibitors, while marketing, distribution and other costs also affect the final financial outcome.
Considering its reported collections and estimated budget, Mirzapur: The Movie can be described as a major box office success.
